Buprofezin 25% SC - Contact Insecticide
Chemical Composition: Buprofezin a.l. content 25.000% w/w, Dispersing agent: (Alkylated naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde polymer, sodium salt) 2.500% w/w Antifreeze agent: (Propylene glycol) 12.500% w/w, Defoamer: (Dimethyl Polysiloxane) 0.30% w/w, Thickner 1 (Xanthum Gum) (Hetropolysaccharide) 0.100% w/w, Thickner 2 (Bentonite Clay) 2.500% w/w, Bactericide (1, 2-benzisothiazin-3-one) 0.150% w/w, Distilled Water q.s., Total 100% w/w Direction of Use: a) Preparation os spray mixture: Take the required quantity of insecticide, dilute with a little water and stir well using a stick, then add the remaining quantity of water as per spray volume required and mix well again by stirring. b) Plant Protection equipments: Use knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, compression knapsack sprayer, compression knapsack battery sprayer or ASPEE-HTP sprayer. COMPATIBILITY: Buprofezin 25% SC is compatible with the commonly used insecticides and fungicides. Precautions: 1. Avoid inhalation and skin contact while dilution because of spillages's splashes. Do not mix with bare hands. 2. The user should use full protective clothing, which includes rubber boots. Face should be covered with dust mask or respirator and an overall or rubber apron hood or hat. 3. Use In hight concentration with low and ultra low volume application equipment is dangerous and should be avoided. LIMITATION AND CAUTIONS FOR USE: Do not use in those situations if there is possibility of harming bees and fish, livestock, game, wild birds and animals. Antidote: No specific antidote is known. Give symptomatic and supportive therapy. Recommendations: Buprofezin 25%-SC is an insecticides used for the control of sucking pest of Rice, Cotton, Chillies, Mango & Grapes particularly against Plant hoppers, Whiteflies, Aphids, Jassids, Thrips, Mites, Hoppers, Mealy bugs etc. Poisoning: Symptoms may be combination of dizziness, headache, nervousness, anxiety, salivation tremors, convulsions, allergy, localized skin effect like itching, nausea, slight skin erythema and hypoactivity. First Aid: Remove the patient to to fresh air. Remove contaminated clothing. If skin is contaminated wash well with soap and water. If eyes are contaminated flush with clean water. Call a physician. If swallowed, induce vomiting. Keep in a cool, dry place away from heat or open flame, CAUTION: not to be used on crops other than specified on this label/leaflet.
